GSVA analysis is a method used to infer the degree of activity of a set of genes or pathways in a single sample. SCIGAMA provides two ways of analyzing the method, GOBP_GSVA and KEGG_GSVA. Users can click on “Function” under ‘Analysis’ in the “Transcriptome” section of the navigation bar on the home page. SCIMGAMA will then pop up a submenu, allowing users to select GOBP or KEGG analysis according to their needs..
1. GOBP
Users can enter their pathway or biological process of interest in the GOBP box and select the target Sample. When everything is done, click on Search. SCIGAMA will help the user to perform GOBP GSVA analysis and give the results in the form of heatmap at the bottom of the page.
2. KEGG
Similarly, clicking "Function", SCIGAMA will bring up a sub-menu, and then click "KEGG". Users can enter their pathway or biological process of interest in the KEGG box and select the target Sample. When everything is done, click on Search. SCIGAMA will help the user to perform KEGG GSVA analysis and give the results in the form of heatmap at the bottom of the page.
